Ergothioneine is present in the Agaricus Bisporus, a compound that has proven to be an excellent antioxidant.
These mushrooms are also able to increase the expression of cytokines and interleukins, decrease the total cholesterol and help the liver reduce triglycerides.

Nutritional
properties

It is among the mushrooms that have a higher percentage of fibers, such as β-glucans, bioactive compounds capable of stimulating the immune response.
The vitamin B2 content is higher than the concentration present in the vegetables and is comparable to that found in eggs and cheese.
Also in the case of vitamin B3 Agaricus bisporus, compared to other mushrooms, has the highest values.
